I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, Art Therapist, and Brainspotting Practitioner passionate about moving my clients toward a greater sense of awareness of what drives them, and freedom to inhabit their lives more fully. My background is in painting, sculpture, and fiber arts, and I balance my private practice with a continued involvement in the art world. I provide clinical support to graduate students at Naropa University’s Graduate School of Psychology, and am a lead mentor for Naropa Community Art Studio. In my free time I enjoy backpacking, rock climbing, and seeing live music. I am married to a nature-loving scientist, and am stepmom to two cool tweens and mom to an extremely talkative toddler.

We'll use a combination of traditional talk therapy along with art materials and processes to bring your internal world, which may be invisible, unconscious, or that "words can't describe", into workable concrete form, and create opportunities for reflection, problem solving, and integration. My approach focuses on cultivating skills of body-based mindfulness, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and a deep reckoning with addictive patterns, to support clear expression and action in your life.
